Norrie Kitson

Director

Having previously been employed with a major consultant but in recent years working closely with Turnberry, Norrie Kitson helped co-found Turnberry Development Management Ltd in 2017 and joined as a Director. He has a wide range of experience of project management in the UK, having worked in both the public sector and private sectors; he has more than 20 years experience in providing feasibility advice and project management services to a wide range of clients, projects, frameworks and discrete commissions.

Having held various leadership positions on projects in the public and private sectors, Norrie has gained significant experience in the development, procurement and delivery of a wide range of projects varying in capital value and complexity in the fields of infrastructure, residential, health, law and order, government, manufacturing, transportation, leisure and services infrastructure. Norrie has gathered and developed particular experience in the preparation of Strategic Business Plans and has experience of several procurement routes and various forms of contract.
Of particular note, Norrie has led project management services in the development of new communities and suburban developments. This has included early and ongoing roles as lead project manager on the emerging new towns of Chapelton (Aberdeenshire) and Tornagrain (Moray) and the provision of early feasibility input of two new community developments (Hatfield, Hertfordshire).
